The image of a small dog collapsing on the side of the road when its body is only 1.8 Kg with skin and bones and is extremely hungry will make you cry because looking at it is really too pitiful

It all started with a report call for help about a poor dog lying motionless beside the road. The little puppy had been there for days, with countless people passing by but no one willing to help. Luckily, some kind souls had given him food and water and even provided a small shelter for him to escape the hot sun. But the General, as he came to be known, was in desperate need of medical attention.

Upon receiving the report, rescuers quickly arrived on the scene and took the General to a vet for a check-up. What they found was heartbreaking: the little dog was only 1.8 kilos, all skin and bones, and his pelvis was broken. The General needed surgery to fix his spinal disc, but he was too small to undergo the entire procedure. The vet advised that fixing his spine and the back of his feet would be the best course of action.

Despite the risks, the surgery was a success, and the General began his long road to recovery. He received 24-hour care and special measures were taken to protect his back leg from infection. Slowly but surely, the General started to regain his strength, and by day 30, he was even adopted by a loving family.

But the journey was far from over. The General still had a long way to go before he could fully recover. He underwent various forms of therapy, including leg massages, waist towel rehabilitation, and stem cell therapy. There were moments of hope and moments of disappointment, but through it all, the General remained a fighter.

Day 80 brought a beautiful and happy moment as the General was able to walk on his own. However, it was not enough. After months of treatment, the General still had pain, and the possibility of walking was low. But his rescuers refused to give up. They turned to stem cell therapy as a last hope for the little dog, and it was called a one-time treatment.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of the rescue team, the General’s journey had a happy ending. Although he may never walk normally again, the General found a loving home and a family that would always be there for him. The General’s story is a testament to the power of hope and perseverance, and the kindness and dedication of those who work to rescue and rehabilitate animals in need.
